I grew up in Mint Hill, which is a suburb of Charlotte.  I was surrounded by lots of family, and have continued to live in the area.  I worked for over 20 years in the stock brokerage business, primarily for Interstate/Johnson Lane and for First Union Brokerage, both located in uptown Charlotte.

I have been married for 18 years, and have 2 adopted children, Reed, 12 years old, and Kinsey, 11 years old.  My husband and I adopted them from Russia when they were very young, and they are the joy of our lives.

My hobbies are enjoying time with my family and friends, cooking and gardening.  Also, when time permits, I enjoy day trips throughout the Carolinas.
